These are the rules of MOW membership. By registering to use the site you agree to abide by these rules. Those members found breaking the rules will have their accounts deactivated and will be banned from using the site.
It is important that you read through and understand the following information.

1. Who can register to use the website?

You are solely responsible for your conduct in the chatrooms, blogs, comments or the thought tree, and any data you upload such as photos, music or video clips. You may not use the site for any illegal or unauthorised use.
You may not put anything on the site that you did not create or that you do not have permission from the author to use on this website. For example, you may place a photograph on the website where you took the photograph yourself but you may not put somebody else's photograph onto this website unless they have given you permission to do so or you may put lyrics to a song that you wrote on the website, but you mustn't copy the lyrics of someone else's song without their permission.
We may review the content you put on the site and delete or remove any part of it.

3. Who owns the material on the website?
You own the material you put on the website but by putting the material on this website you consent to MOW using that material, publishing that material and modifying that material. Without these rights we would not be able to convert your material into a form required to display it on our website nor could we make it accessible by you and other users.
We own and retain all rights to this website and to the name and trading styles of MOW and Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, display or distribute anything from the website including the name.
4. How much do you monitor the website?
We monitor our website to ensure the content of it is appropriate to you. We expect all users of our website to comply with the rules set out in this document, however it is possible to access other websites via our website, which we do not monitor. Therefore before using any other websites you should check their terms and conditions and privacy policy. We take no responsibility for third party websites.
Although we monitor our website, it is impossible to check everything that is uploaded onto the website. Some of the website content is put onto it by other users and may not be true or accurate. 5. Is your website available all of the time and is it secure?
We take care to maintain our system to ensure that it is working and is free of viruses but cannot guarantee that the website will be available to you all of the time. Nor can we guarantee that the website will be free from viruses. Please maintain up to date virus checkers on your computer.
6. How long can I remain a member of the website?
We will remove you from our website when you are older than the age of 16 years or if we believe that you have not complied with the terms of this document or for any other reason we think fit. If we remove you from our website we will delete all personal information that we hold about you.
